The event brings together feature and short films from around the world, taking place at Cine Passeio, Cine Guarani, Teatro da Vila, Oscar Niemeyer Museum and Ópera de Arame, one of the most popular tourist attractions in Paraná. The impressive structure is transformed into a large cinema hall, which, in 2025, welcomed over 1,500 people for the opening ceremony.
Olhar de Cinema – Curitiba Int’l Film Festival will hold its 15th edition from June 04 to 13, 2026. The festival is recognized as one of the most important ones dedicated to the seventh art in Brazil and Latin America.
Bringing to the city of Paranaguá movies that have made and continue to make cinema history, the selected films aim to provoke reflections about our society and the complex human relationships.
The second edition of Cinenaguá took place from April 11 to 20, 2025, with film screenings at the Paranaguá Railway Station and Ilha do Mel. All programming free.
